Every PDF tool, each on its own page
Every tool here has a page of its own. Open one and drop your files on it: nothing has to be opened anywhere else first, and nothing needs installing. Each tool keeps its own files, so what you drop on Merge stays with Merge and turns up in no other tool's list unless you pass it on.

What they have in common
The page tools, the marks, compress and protect each make a new file and leave the one you started from as it was, and compare changes neither file. What a download costs is on the pricing page, and each tool says its own rule beside its download button. Files you upload are deleted after 90 days, or whenever you clear them, and a file you protect or unlock from your computer is not kept at all.
