Remove a PDF password you know

Take off a password you know

Send the file with its password, and get it back without one. For a file whose owner restricted printing, copying or editing, it is the owner's password that lifts the restrictions: the password that opens a file reads it, it does not own it.

Not a password cracker

This tool opens a protected file only with the password you give, once. It never tries another, never guesses and never works around the encryption; a wrong password is told to you as a wrong password, and 10 tries in 10 minutes is all anybody gets. If you do not have the password, ask the person who protected the file.

Unlock a PDF now — it opens the tool, with nothing to install.

The record

Nothing is stored: the file you send comes back protected or unlocked, and the record of what was done travels inside it. Your account's trail keeps the file's fingerprint, the encryption and the permissions — never a password.
